Currently the Institute performs routine molecular analyses based on microsatellite DNA markers for parentage control of Thoroughbred and Arabian horses bred in Poland. If such a demand should appear, the Institute is prepared to conduct a parentage control on the basis of DNA analyses for any animal species.
